Reported detikjabar, a porridge seller from Cirebon, Wahidin was tricked by members of the police. This case began when the perpetrator with the initials SW claimed to be able to pass Wahidin’s son who took part in the selection for the acceptance of a National Police Officer in 2021.
Wahidin wanted to register his son as a member of the National Police. Wahidin came to SW to ask what procedures had to be followed in the registration.
SW lured Wahidin by claiming to have acquaintances or colleagues who could help get his son to become a member of the National Police. The SW colleague in question is N, a retired ASN who previously served at Yanma Mabes Polri.
“So this SW said if he had acquaintances who could help his son (Wahidin) join the National Police. Then the suspect SW said, if indeed (Wahidin) was interested then there would be a fee of IDR 350 million. Because he felt he knew him, it could be reduced,” said the Kapolsek Cirebon City, AKBP Ariek Indra Sentanu at the Cirebon City Police Headquarters, Monday (19/6/2023).
Later, Wahidin was introduced by SW to his colleague with the initials N, who was said to be able to help get his son to become a member of the National Police. After meeting Wahidin, N also asked for money totaling Rp. 300 million as a condition for his son to qualify to become a member of the National Police.
“Suspect N asked the victim for money in the amount of Rp. 300 million which was paid in stages, both transfers and cash. As for the Rp. 10 million, the victim handed it over directly to the suspect SW in SW’s office at the Mundu Police,” said Ariek.
After giving money with a total value of IDR 310 million, the victim felt cheated. This was because his son was declared to have failed when he took the registration test for the acceptance of members of the National Police.
“The victim’s child did not pass and died during the National Police selection. The victim’s child did not pass when the medical test was announced,” said Ariek.

SW Fired from Police
AKP Supai Warna or SW was fired from the police after being caught cheating a porridge seller. It is known, the victim suffered a loss of up to IDR 310 million.
SW has been removed from his position as Wakasatbinmas Polresta Cirebon after defrauding a porridge seller named Wahidin.
“SW himself has been transferred from the position of Wakasatbinmas (Cirebon Police) and now has the status of Pama Polda,” said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo.
