Tragic Death of 14-Year-Old Boy in Second Subway Surfing Incident in New York

A 14-year-old boy died Thursday afternoon after falling from a carriage while allegedly surfing on the New York subway.

This is the second similar incident in a week.

On this occasion, the accident occurred at 5:30 pm at Queens Boulevard and 33rd Street.

According to information from the authorities, the minor fell from the wagon onto the tracks.

The victim was rescued and rushed to Cohen Children’s Medical Center where he remained in critical condition for several hours before being pronounced dead overnight.

The minor was identified by authorities Friday morning as Jevon Fraser.

Both were beaten and Crespo died, while his partner is seriously injured.

So far in 2023 at least 4 minors, all between the ages of 14 and 15 have died from surfing on the New York subway.

According to authorities, the minor was traveling on a subway car that was traveling from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to Manhattan.
