The University of Dunaújváros also won a tender in 2022 within the framework of the National Talent Program. Creation of the Innovative learning environment and implementation of complex talent support programs in the group NTP-INNOV-22-0164 at number “Talent development for dice, or intelligent vision“, the University launched a one-year talent development program. High school students and university students who are interested in IT and robot technology can apply for the program. The participants of the program received 60 hours of training in the topics of shape recognition supported by artificial intelligence and intelligent vision. The necessary tools for the training were provided by the University. At the end of the training, the participants built a hardware-software device that can control a robot using shape recognition. In parallel with the University of Dunaújváros, a similar training took place at the Technical University of Subotica (Serbia).
The University also involves talented students in the research programs of the University of Dunaújváros. Dr. Zoltán Király (professional coordinator of the project) reported on the program.
