GERSLOOT – A driver of a VW Up was injured in a one-sided accident on Deelenweg near Gersloot on Thursday evening. At around 10 p.m., he lost control and his vehicle came to a stop against a tree.
Police, ambulance and firefighters attended the scene for first aid. At that point, the man could have left his car on his own. The victim was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital. The fire service performed some hand and span services on the spot.
A recovery company collected and removed the vehicle later that evening.
