The National Water Commission (Conagua) reported on the formation of tropical cyclone “Dos-E” off the coast of Oaxaca.
Its center is 235 kilometers south of Puerto Ángel, Oaxaca and 395 kilometers southeast of Acapulco, Guerrero.
It presents maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h, gusts of 75 km/h and the displacement is to the northwest.
The circulation reinforces the conditions for torrential rains in Oaxaca and Chiapas, as well as intense ones in Tabasco and southern Veracruz.
How will the weather be today?
Due to this tropical depression, there will be very heavy rains in Guerrero, together with gusts of wind of 50 to 60 km/h and waves of 1 to 3 meters in height on the coasts of Oaxaca, Chiapas and the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
For this reason, a prevention zone is established due to the winds of this tropical storm from Punta Maldonado, Guerrero; Punta San Telmo, in Michoacán, and the tropical storm wind watch zone extends to Playa Pérula, Jalisco, due to the cloud bands that make it up.
The tropical storm will continue its trajectory and it is expected that by Tuesday, July 4, it will reach the category of tropical depression off the coast of Baja California Sur.
In addition, a low pressure channel over the west and center of the country will cause heavy rains in Jalisco, Colima and Michoacán.
There will also be very heavy rains in the State of Mexico and heavy rains in Nayarit, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Morelos and Puebla.
These storms will be accompanied by electrical discharges and possible hail fall. There is also a second channel of low pressure over the Yucatan Peninsula that will cause rain and showers.
In addition, there is a third low pressure channel over the Mexican territory over the southern Gulf of Mexico that will cause intense rains in Veracruz and very heavy rains in Tabasco.
All this occurs while Hurricane Adrian is south of the coast of Baja California Sur and will continue to the west, moving away from the country.
