In late 2021, Quantic Dream officially introduced the story game Star Wars Eclipse. Since then, the studio has skillfully withheld information about the title, which takes on a previously under-covered era of the universe. No wonder, because according to an insider, the release is still many light years away.
It was already impressive, the first trailer for Star Wars Eclipse. Since Quantic Dream introduced it at the Game Awards 2021, the story game has been very quiet. Alleged information revolved around a new alien race, and the period within the Star Wars cosmos has so far not been dealt with much in games. The action takes place during the new era of the High Republic. This era was revealed by Disney in 2020 and it takes place around 200 years before the events of the movies.

Quantic Dream has so far kept a release date to itself, but according to an insider, this should still be many parsecs away. Specifically, Tom Henderson states that the title will not be released until 2026. He does not reveal his sources, but in the past he has been correct several times with his predictions. For example, he was told six months earlier that NetEase was planning to buy Quantic Dream.
Henderson goes on to say that his sources again confirmed that Quantic Dream is having massive problems hiring new employees. The reason for this is still the information about a toxic work culture at the studio, including sexual harassment and crunch. A whistleblower who made these allegations public is still in litigation with Quantic Dream, which is expected to end later this year.
While we have relied on Henderson and his sources in the past, there remains room for skepticism. The project seems to be insanely extensive and in combination with the personnel problems the development time should be quite a rollercoaster ride.
