t place. I loved taking the lead on this project, accompanied by my au pair daughter Pauline on the wall, and supported by Lia and Jérémy at the truck.
Why did you choose to try “Yeah Man” in particular? “Yeah Man” had been on my mind for a while and I really wanted to do some multipitch climbing again since the birth of my daughter. I had exchanged a lot with Cédric Lachat, who had done it three years ago, and he was really confident that I had the level. Since becoming a mother, I still climb a lot, but I’m less inclined to do projects where I’m far from my family. So I wanted to find something where my family could be present because it’s the most beautiful thing when after a long day on the wall, your loved ones are waiting for you at camp. Also, it’s not a massif that is very dangerous in terms of commitment (the route is super well equipped), nor for rockfall, etc., and I really wanted to bring Pauline into a route where she could fully express herself and learn a lot of things.
