Ruben Loftus-Cheek has arrived in Italy, where he will undergo a medical with Milan tomorrow for the transfer of 21 million euros from Chelsea.
The 27-year-old England international touched down at Milan airport in the late afternoon.
The two clubs reached an agreement worth around 21 million euros with various bonuses and add-ons.
Not only is this the first time Loftus-Cheek has had professional experience abroad, but it is also their first club outside of London.
The Chelsea academy product only had loans at Crystal Palace and Fulham, so he didn’t even have to move house.
He made 33 competitive appearances for Chelsea this season, contributing two assists.
His contract was due to expire in June 2024, but the Stamford Bridge side also had the option to extend it for another year.
Loftus-Cheek will join fellow Englishman Fikayo Tomori at the San Siro.
This is not the only deal struck for Milan today as they have also reportedly agreed to a five-year contract with Luka Romero, who is a free agent after leaving. lazio.
