The first prize pool was left untouched after Wednesday’s draw. This means that the pot grows another notch before July’s first Vikinglotto draw on Wednesday 5 July. The first prize pot will then be approx. NOK 62 million.
Nevertheless, we got two Norwegian Vikinglotto millionaires – a woman from Kautokeino and a woman from Oslo.
Two women with six straight
Over 130,000 Norwegians won big and small, but the biggest payout went to those who got six straight. It was two women who got exactly this and secured exactly NOK 2,110,180.
Woman in her 60s from Kautokeino in Troms and Finnmark
The woman from Kautokeino was at home when Norsk Tipping called on Wednesday. She had a house full of family – in other words, it was difficult for her to hear us and difficult for us to hear her, but she heard that she had become a Viking Lotto millionaire.
– No? Is this such a silly phone?
At first the woman was very skeptical of the message, but gradually the news sank in.
– It was great! It will probably be a nice holiday this year, she continues.
– This was a great phone to get. It’s probably once in a lifetime, concludes the new millionaire.
We congratulate!
She bought the coupon via the app.
Woman from Oslo
We have not been able to make contact with the woman from Oslo.
The case will be updated as soon as we get in touch.
The Wednesday pots
On Wednesday 5 July, it is ready for the new Vikinglotto draw – and the first of July. Then, as mentioned, the first prize pot will be approx. NOK 62 million. The second prize pot is estimated to be approx. NOK 1.3 million.
Good luck!
Chance of winning Viking Lotto
To win the 1st prize in Vikinglotto you must have 6 correct winning numbers out of 48 possible, plus one Viking number out of 5 possible. This gives a total of approx. 61 million possible combinations per row, and the chance of winning is then approx. 1:61 million per row. For the 2nd prize (6 correct main numbers), the chance of winning is approx. 1:15 million per row. Statistically speaking, you win a prize, with 3 straight or better, on average every fifth coupon with 10 rows.
