Nicolas Forissier, president of the UDCI group (Union of the right, of the center and of the independents) at the Center-Val de Loire regional council, was in Eure-et-Loir, this Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
A visit organized prior to the plenary session which is being held this Thursday, June 29, in the new high school in Hips.
Accompanied by other elected members of his political group, Nicolas Forissier went to Dreux. The opportunity to exchange with Pierre-Frédéric Billet, mayor (LR) of Dreux and regional councilor (UDCI).

“The topics of security and video surveillance were discussed, with a visit to the urban supervision center,” says Nicolas Forisser. The elected official adds: “On these subjects, we must better support the initiatives of the municipalities and intermunicipalities on our territory”.
The leader of the regional right also went to the Royal Chapel: “The Region must strengthen funding to protect our heritage in danger.”
“The Region needs an alternation”
Nicolas Forissier and his team went to Chartres in the evening, where they were to discuss with elected officials such as Mayor Jean-Pierre Gorges or Senator (LR group), Daniel Guéret.
This visit to Eure-et-Loir is part of a more global political approach, according to Nicolas Forissier: “Our ambition is to come and meet and discuss, very regularly, with the local actors of the territory. It is essential to be at the listening to the field, to take into account the reality of needs within the framework of regional competences.”

The elected official clarified his ambition: “This is a collective work over the long term, in the six departments, with the political perspective of winning in the next regional elections. We must prepare by bringing up the proposals from the field .”
The elected concludes by tackling the regional executive. “The Region needs an alternation. Today there is no strong guideline, no identity. That has to change.”
