“Championship” held a vote for the best young (21 years and under) football player of the season in the RPL World. The captains and head coaches of the Russian championship teams took part in the voting.
Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Sergei Pinyaev won the vote. The 18-year-old football player scored 90 points. He was ahead of Dynamo striker Konstantin Tyukavin and Spartak midfielder Ruslan Litvinov, who received 71 points each and took places in the top three.
In the 2021/22 season, striker Hamid Agalarov (then a Ufa player, now plays for Akhmat) received recognition from coaches and captains, and the fans chose Eduard Spertsyan (Krasnodar).
