Stars are usually used to unusual declarations of love from their fans, but this fan has upset even a well-established celebrity. Someone threw Superstar Pink on stage a plastic bag with ashes – they were the remains of the mother.
The incident happened at a London festival over the weekend, the Dailymail reports. Teddy bears, flowers, sometimes works of art: The 42-year-old singer regularly receives gifts from her fans, but the ashes of a loved one have not yet been included. But that’s exactly what was thrown at her while she was performing the song “Just like a Pill”.
Accordingly, Pink was visibly startled when the bag containing the cremated remains reached her, she picked up the bag and asked uncertainly, “Is that your mother’s ashes?” To the affirmative answer, she only replies: “I don’t know what to think of that.She carefully places the bag on the edge of the stage, adding, “It’s never happened to me before.” She then continues her stage show in a very professional manner.
What was behind the strange gift?
Unfortunately, we do not know the exact motives. But the assumption is that the deceased mom was a big fan of the singer. At least we hope so, because then the action should have been in her interest and her child did her a great favor. It’s actually quite a nice idea: Instead of letting the mortal remains disappear forever, simply take part in a great stage show by your favorite star. Who knows, it might even have been the last will of the deceased.
