DOKKUM – The work on the Central Axis is almost finished. To complete the work, the province of Fryslân will close the road completely for one more weekend.
On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July, the Central As between exit Dokkum and exit De Westereen will be completely closed to traffic in both directions. After that weekend, the road will be completely open to traffic again.
Final work will still take place (cleaning up, etc.), but this will not cause any hindrance to traffic.
Traffic is diverted via the N361 and the N355. This diversion route also applies to public transport. More information about this can be found at www.arriva.nl/halte.
