Many French artists on the Central Park stage

New York, NY, June 20, 2023 – On the occasion of France’s National Day, Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage is pleased to present, in association with the Consulate General of France in New Yorkand the Committee of Franch Speaking Societies (CAFUSA), Bastille Day, a French celebration in the heart of Central Park. Open to all and free, this celebration will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023of 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.at the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park (entrance at 72nd Street on 5th Avenue).
After attracting more than 6,000 people last JulyFrance will be on the Central Park stage with a line-up mixing urban, pop and electro:
Stepsfamous rapper, will perform his greatest hits, such as Je zappe et je mate, Face à la mer, and of course, the hits of the group Bisso Na Bisso.
Benabara symbol of French variety, will perform its own classics, including Le Dîner, and will cover some essential French songs.
C’WEST 44a leading street dance association, will bring together the greatest French and American breakdancers for the 2024 Olympic Games. Get ready for a great show with a DJ!
Joachim Garraud, a world famous DJ, will be joined by Marie Berson, DJ, singer and flautist. Their unique electronic duo will cause excitement in Central Park!
Adele Castillonsinger of the new French pop scene, will make you (re)discover her first successes, such as the famous Amour Plastique, as well as the songs from her new album.
The Cadets Lafayette marching band and the singer Marie Viapiano will perform under the musical direction of Jacques Letalon. Their French repertoire will be followed by French and American national anthems.
