KNVB Warns Clubs: Schedule for Next Season in Jeopardy if Obstacles Persist

The KNVB has issued a warning to the clubs from the Eredivisie and Kitchen Champion Division. According to the association, it will not be possible to make a schedule next season if the same ‘obstacles and obstacles’ continue to exist.

The KNVB presented the draft schedules of the Eredivisie and KKD for the 2023/24 season on Wednesday morning. However, that did not go without a hitch. “It is becoming increasingly difficult to determine a good competition program with all the wishes and requests of those involved,” says Jan Bluyssen, manager of professional football competition affairs, on the website of the KNVB.

“If we have to deal with the same obstacles and obstacles for the 2024/’25 season as for this season, it will not be possible to make a competition program. The puzzle is getting more and more difficult,” continues Bluyssen. “With a lot of trial and error, we succeeded this year. We thank everyone who showed their flexibility at crucial moments, so that we now have another great program in front of us. We are eager to get started again and have a great season.”
