Committee Unanimously Votes to Donate Land for Sports and Cultural Association

The Committee on Constitutional Affairs and Justice (A) issued a dispatch to the project that donates a portion of the land that the club has occupied for more than 70 years to the Lácar Sports and Cultural Association. This is how the body chaired by Deputy Maximiliano Caparroz voted unanimously at this morning’s meeting.

He referred to the social impact that the club generates in the Andean community and mentioned some of the sports activities that are taught there, such as soccer, chess, judo, volleyball, basketball, artistic gymnastics, and climbing, as well as having summer camps. , winter sports and a main gym, among other services offered by the club.

“The entire community takes advantage of its facilities and its cultural development,” summarized the legislator when endorsing the cessation of land ownership for the benefit of the club.

In his turn, the deputy Sergio Fernández Novoa (FdT) also highlighted the scope of the sports institution and, after announcing the positive vote for the initiative, pointed out that the transfer of land “is really necessary and fair”, both for the club and for the whole community.

The office was unanimously approved and will continue to be dealt with by the Finance and Budget, Accounts and Public Works (B) commission.

In another order, the commission analyzed the proposal of deputy Fernández Novoa that asks Congress to update the national laws regulating audiovisual communication services -26,522 and 27,078-.

The objective is to “update” the legislation to arrive at a new regulation that contemplates situations that did not exist at the time of the enactment of said regulations (2009 and 2014, respectively), such as 4G, fiber optics and new platforms, Fernández exemplified. Novoa.

In this regard, Deputy César Gass (JC) spoke in favor of “a new media law” and “against the monopolies” of communication companies, but called for a “broader” debate and not from political sectarianism ” as occurred at the time of approval of such rules, as estimated by the legislator.

The request will continue to be debated in the commission.
