Compared to 2021, when SIA “Kool Latvija” had a turnover of less than 17 million euros, last year its turnover increased by 52.2%, reaching 25.86 million euros. At the same time, the losses of SIA “Kool Latvija” also increased, increasing to 1.35 million euros.
The submitted annual report states that in 2022 the company signed a long-term contract with SIA “Dizelis” and SIA “STA” for the operation of 27 gas stations of the “Gotika Auto” brand. Also, the company leases three gas stations from SIA “Dizelis”, which previously operated under the brand “Metro” and belonged to SIA “Alcom properties”.
Last year was the sixth full year of operation of SIA “Kool Latvija”. During that time, the company managed 37 gas stations and one car wash.
During the reporting year, SIA “Kool Latvija” made some significant changes, optimizing and restructuring various internal processes, which have had a significant impact on maintaining competitiveness and the successful continuation of the company’s operations. The submitted management report states that several plots of land were also purchased last year and design work was started. The further plan of SIA “Kool Latvija” is to create a network of gas stations throughout the territory of Latvia with an offer in the corporate and private segment, as a result of which plots of land are prepared and agreements are organized for the purchase of competitors’ assets within the next two years.
SIA “Kool Latvija” was registered in 2016. The sole shareholder of the company is the Estonian “Aktsiaselts Aqua Marina”. Last year, the fuel retail company had 111 employees. The information available to “Lursoft” shows that in 2022, SIA “Kool Latvija” paid 402.79 thousand in mandatory contributions to the state social insurance.
