The 31st “Calam”, a Gascon literary competition, rewarded six winners, including the first two prizes from the City of Anglet with 1,000 euros and 500 euros. “We tried to dust it off a bit as a literary competition by turning it towards small video creations of one to five minutes, without forgetting texts in prose and verse. The Premier was won by the poetess Pauline Kamakine, who, selected, was represented by one of her friends, the Basque writer Lucien Etxezaharreta. A teacher from the Bétharram college came to receive the second prize from the City of Anglet, won by her 4th grade students for “Lo Capulet ros”, Little Red Riding Hood.
Tribute to Manciet
