Pontianak – The Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Sultan Muhammad Jamaludin I in North Kayong Regency underwent a sudden inspection (Sidak) by the Regional Secretary of West Kalimantan Province, Harisson. The inspection, which took place on Sunday evening (25/6/2023), was conducted to assess the quality of public health services and ensure that all units in the hospital are operating in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
The Regional Secretary was accompanied by the Head of the Kayong Utara District Health Office, Iwan Dwi Purnomo, during the inspection. The visit was prompted by the recent cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) that have been reported in the district. The purpose of the inspection was to coordinate with the Health Service and take necessary actions to control the spread of DHF.

The Health Office has taken preventive measures, such as distributing circulars to the Head of the Puskesmas for vigilance and promoting general environmental hygiene through letters from the Regent to the Sub-District Head and Village.
