Previously, Prigozhin’s Telegram channel published several audio messages in which he claimed that his unit was hit by an airstrike. He accused the Russian military leadership, specifically the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), and initiated a criminal case on charges of inciting an armed uprising.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied reports about attacks on Wagner units, calling them false. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that President Vladimir Putin had been briefed on the situation and “necessary steps are being taken.”
