The Mercedes GLB has just been entitled to a mid-career update. On the program: a slight restyling (shields, light signature, steering wheel, central console), an equally light hybridization (48 V alternator-starter with 14 hp petrol electric motor), an improved multimedia system and some new equipment. The touchpad having disappeared, all operations now go through the central screen and the few buttons on the console. The 250 4Matic engine disappears from the catalog. The GLB is still not offered as a plug-in hybrid. The EQB electric model will be restyled in the second half of 2023.
On the restyled Mercedes GLB, the 220 d 4Matic powertrain, hitherto only offered with the AMG Line equipment level, can now be combined with any configuration. For the remaining versions, the price increase amounts to €250 in Progressive Line finish, €1,350 in Business Line and €2,350 in AMG Line. The powerful AMG 35 version sees its price jump by €7,200. The Mercedes GLB offer starts at €49,000. For this price, it has equipment provided. Atypical in its segment because of its cubic silhouette, the SUV with the star is also atypical for its seven seats as standard.
