Jakarta – Road users crossing the Surabaya-Mojokerto (Sumo) Toll Road were left in shock when they came across a man covered in blood lying in the middle of the road. The incident took place at Km 745 Sidoarjo. Police are now investigating the discovery of the lifeless body.
The body was found around 04.45 WIB and was immediately reported to the Senkom Jasa Marga officer. Officers rushed to the location and discovered the man’s body covered in blood. Head of the Sidoarjo Police Traffic Unit, Iptu Ony Purnomo, confirmed the discovery.
“The incident was reported by the community to Senkom Jasa Marga that there was a person lying on the direction of the Sumo Toll Road, then forwarded to the toll patrol and PJR East Java Regional Police,” said Iptu Ony when asked for confirmation.
Joint officers visited the location and conducted inspections and investigations. “We are still checking and investigating and looking around the TKP,” explained Iptu Ony.
