The “Women’s Volleyball” Thai national team is gearing up for the Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2023 (VNL 2023) Week 3, which will take place from June 27 to July 2, 2023, at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Thailand.
After completing the 2nd week of the competition in Brasilia, Brazil, the Thai national team returned to Thailand on June 21, 2023. On the evening of June 22, 2023, the team wasted no time and immediately resumed training. The team, currently ranked 15th in the world, focused on getting reinforcements and improving skills for each position during the two-hour training sessions.
Some athletes who did not travel to compete in the first two races also joined the training sessions. The head coach, Danai Sriwatcharamethakul, allowed the athletes to stretch their bodies and relax their muscles as they are still in the period of adjustment.
One player, Chompoo Pornphan Kerdprat, who had not practiced with her teammates due to rehabilitation, received acupuncture earlier and was able to join the training sessions on the sidelines. However, there will be a practice for the competition system on June 25, 2023, to ensure the team is fully prepared.
