Wamena – In honor of the 77th Bhayangkara Day, the Jayawijaya Police conducted social assistance activities for the people of Jayawijaya Regency on Tuesday morning. The assistance, in the form of basic food packages, was directly handed over by the Head of the Jayawijaya Police HR Unit, Kompol Poltak Sihombing, S.Sos, to the community in several locations as a gesture of love in celebrating the 77th Bhayangkara Day in 2023.

Kompol Muh. Nur Bakti, SH, MH, the Deputy Chief of Police in Jayawijaya, stated that this social assistance activity was part of a series of activities carried out by the Jayawijaya Police to welcome the 77th Bhayangkara Day. “Today, we are distributing groceries at the Al Hijrah Megapura Mosque, the Jesus Elalim Woma Chapel Church, Honelama Dua Village, and the Lachai Roi Hom-Hom Church, with a total of 100 basic food packages distributed,” said the Deputy Chief of Police.

The Deputy Chief of Police also added that although the assistance may not be much, it is hoped that it can help the community and that the joy of the 77th Bhayangkara Day can be felt by everyone.
