– When I left this morning, one of the things I thought about was when is the right time to take George or Charlotte or Louis to a homeless organization. I think when I can balance it with their school routines, they will definitely be exposed to it. When we take them to school, we talk about what we see, says the prince.
The prince himself was taken to such an organization when he was eleven years old. Back then it was his mother, Diana, who took him there.

– When we were in London, and driving back and forth, we kept seeing people sitting outside shops, and then we talked about it. I said to the children, “Why are they there? What’s up?”. I think it’s in everyone’s interest, it’s the right thing to do, to expose the kids to it, so they get an understanding.
– They will grow up knowing that, you know what, some of us are very lucky, while some of us need a little help and some of us need to contribute a little more where we can to improve their lives, he adds.

He himself is very grateful that Princess Diana introduced him to the topic from a young age. He also stated that earlier this year in a video, according to BBC.
– I think she would have been disappointed that we are still no further along when it comes to tackling homelessness, and preventing it, than when she was interested and involved in the topic.
