Two weeks after Bill Cosby was charged with sexual assault again, nine more women are suing the 85-year-old former comedian. The abuse allegedly took place between 1979 and 1992.
Among others, model Janice Dickinson and actress Lili Bernard, who starred in The Cosby Showaccording to TMZ to the women who started the business.
Much of the abuse allegedly took place in Cosby’s permanent suite at a Nevada hotel. There he would have invited women for a conversation with Hollywood producers. Once there, the producers turned out not to be there and Cosby would have drugged his victims and then abused them.
“Cosby used his immense power and fame to abuse these women,” the indictment reads.
As a result of the abuse, the women experience post-traumatic complaints. They demand damages from Cosby. According to the attorney for the The Cosby Showactor, the women are “out for a lot of media attention”.
Playboy model is also suing Cosby
Earlier this month, Cosby was again charged with sexual assault. Former Playboymodel Victoria Valentino says she was drugged and raped by the actor in 1969.
Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by several women in recent years. He himself denies the allegations.
In 2018, the star of The Cosby Show sentenced to prison for drugging and abusing former basketball star Andrea Constand. He was released again in 2021, because the prosecutor had violated an agreement.
