The National Police of the Kharkiv region reported that the enemy had begun shelling the Kharkiv region again.

“Do not ignore the air raid signals. Stay in shelters. Report the hit of enemy shells, destruction, wounded to special line 102,” the police called on residents of the region.

An air alert has been declared in the city and the region.

Updated at 07:55. In the morning, the mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, said that the night sounds of explosions that were heard in the city were the result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense forces.

“The explosions that Kharkiv residents heard at night were the development of our air defense against enemy targets. The Shaheds flying to the city were shot down on approach to Kharkov,” Terekhov wrote in Telegram.
