On June 14, the Supervisory Committee of the Bank of Latvia adopted a decision to allow the limited liability company “VEF KOMUNIKĪCIJU SERVISS” to make an offer to buy back the shares of the joint-stock company “VEF” for the exclusion of the shares from the regulated market. The price of one share in the share buyback offer is set at 1.78 euros.
It has already been announced that on May 23, the Bank of Latvia received the application of the limited liability company “VEF KOMUNIKĀCIJU SERVISS” for permission to issue a buyback offer of the shares of the joint stock company “VEF” for the exclusion of the shares from the regulated market and the prospectus of the share buyback offer in accordance with Article 14 of the Share Buyback Law for the part.
According to the information provided in the prospectus, the offeror of the share buyback is the limited liability company “VEF KOMUNICĂCIJU SERVISS”, which, in accordance with the second part of Article 14 of the Share Buyback Law, is approved as a person who will make an offer to the shareholders of the joint-stock company “VEF” to buy back the joint-stock company “VEF” owned by them ” actions.
The documents submitted for the share buyback offer meet the requirements of Articles 21 and 22 of the Share Buyback Law, thus the Supervisory Committee of the Bank of Latvia allowed the limited liability company “VEF KOMUNIKĪCIJU SERVISS” to make a share buyback offer of the joint stock company “VEF” for the exclusion of the shares from the regulated market.
