ABU DHABI, June 14, WAM/ The General Pension and Social Security Authority is organizing three virtual introductory workshops on the new digital platform (My Pension), which is the latest digital transformation project that the Authority intends to launch soon, during the period from 20 to 22 June, from 10 to 11 A.M .
A workshop on June 20 will be presented in English, while workshops on June 21 and 22 will be presented in Arabic. The workshop data will be published on the authority’s social media channels, and its data and links will be sent to employers on the e-mail registered with the authority.
Through these workshops, the authority aims to introduce the strategic partners from the employers who are subject to the provisions of Federal Law No. (7) of 1999 for pensions and social security to the “My Pension” platform, which are the employers in the federal government sector, and the agencies affiliated with local governments in all emirates of the country except for the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Employers in the private sector in all emirates except for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
These workshops present the services contained in the platform, how to manage the registration process and subscribe to it, and define the operations that employers can accomplish through the platform at the level of data processing of the insured workers for them, the procedures followed in completing or tracking their transactions, and the main procedures that employers must Complete it in time to successfully transition to using the new portal.
During the current month, the authority implemented workshops within this framework for several entities in the government and private sectors, including the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, the Human Resources Department in the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, the Emirates Airlines Group, and Dubai World. and the Public Prosecution – Government of Dubai. These entities hosted the workshops as they include large numbers of insured persons subscribing to the Authority.
The Authority has also carried out several other workshops for non-civilian entities, in which the Authority will manage the files of the insured, and the Authority will continue during the coming period, before or after the launch of the system, to implement more workshops, to introduce the “My Pension” platform and its services, features and procedures, to enable all participating agencies. In the Authority to use the platform efficiently and effectively.
