Hell Let Loose will receive an update on July 18 Devotion to Duty. The developers recently released a trailer that promotes the new content. Unfortunately, the material turned out to be strong underdeveloped. The players pointed out numerous mistakes to the developers and loudly expressed their embarrassment.

Harbinger Devotion to Duty was unveiled at the recent PC Gaming Show and lasted just over two minutes. It brings Objective mode closer, where players will fight in groups of 25v25 for control of the Brécourt battery. Their tasks are also supposed to include attacking or defending artillery pieces.

There were a lot of comments under the material, pointing out numerous errors to the creators. Viewers noticed, among others, charging hands among the Germans or an American soldier immobilized in the “A” position. The wrong position of the magazine in one of the weapons or mistakes in the voice actors were also noticed.

No wonder the update trailer Devotion to Duty met with criticism. Currently, the material on the official profile of the game on YouTube has over 5,500 ratings – only 760 of them are positive, as many as 4,800,000 users received it negatively.

Can’t believe the whole team saw this and thought it was good enough,” user Daniel Prosser wrote under the video.

A message regarding the quality of the trailer will be published on the game’s official Discord profile soon.

Our intention was to hold a developer briefing, but instead we’ll take some time to explain the Update 15 teaser and provide further details on the new game mode that will be released on July 18, we read on Discord.

Although Devotion to Duty didn’t get off to a good start, it Hell Let Loose is generally a very positively received game. The desktop version currently has an average rating of 79/100 on Metacriticas well as 86% positive reviews (out of over 65,000) on Steam. Creators Hell Let Loose there are plans to introduce the Polish army to the game and a battle focusing on the defense of the Polish Post Office in Gdańsk.

It should be noted, however, that the original developer – Black Matter – does not deal with the game as much as it used to. Currently team he works mainly on a completely new project, unrelated to Hell Let Loose. To support the further development of this FPS set in the realities of World War II, the game’s publisher – Team17 – created Cover 6 Studios.

Hell Let Loose debuted on the market in July 2021. Initially, the game was only available on PC, but a few months later it was also available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The title has an interface in Polish.
