Stefan de Vrij will permanently extend his contract with Internazionale, Fabrizio Romano and the Italian branch of Sky Sport. The current contract of the Dutch defender expires in more than two weeks.
A few months ago it became clear that De Vrij wants to extend at Inter, but now everything is only done, it sounds. The Orange-international will sign for another two years, so that he will be fixed in Milan until mid-2025. De Vrij is expected to sign this Friday.
In the past season, De Vrij was no longer a permanent fixture at Inter, while he was one of the mainstays in the years before. It seems that Inter will undergo a metamorphosis this transfer summer, but the 31-year-old stopper is therefore retained for the Champions League finalist.
De Vrij was mentioned last year at Feyenoord, PSV and Ajax. The 59-time international comes from the training of the former club and also experienced his breakthrough there. Nine years ago, De Vrij earned a transfer to SS Lazio, which paid seven million euros for him. In the summer of 2018, a transfer-free De Vrij made a sensitive transfer to his current club Inter.
