DRY HAM – Two cars collided with each other on Tuesday evening at Drogeham. A driver crossed the Lândyk from the Skieppedrifte, but – because of the sun – overlooked another car. A collision resulted.
The Surhuisterveen fire brigade was also called to the accident. They have installed screens. An ambulance arrived on scene to check the woman from the Peugeot for injuries. Transport to the hospital was not necessary.
The road was temporarily closed to traffic. A recovery company picked up and took away both vehicles.
