Libya’s National Futsal Team Qualifies for Arab Cup Semi-Finals After 15 Years

Last updated:

The Libyan national team succeeded in qualifying for the semi-finals of the Arab Futsal Cup for the first time in 15 years, by defeating the Lebanese national team 5-2, in the first quarter-final match, on Tuesday, in Saudi Arabia.

The five-year-old Al-Fursan team carried the signature of the brilliant player Mohamed Saeed on two occasions, and a goal for each of Ziyad Aziz, Izz Al-Din Al-Marimi and Ahmed Al-Agnaf.

The double of the Lebanese national team came with the feet of Issa Mahrez and Majd Hamoush.

The Libyan national team compensated for its failure in the quarter-finals of the last edition 2022, when it stumbled against the champion, Morocco, to succeed in reaching the golden square for the first time since 2008.
