New Delhi: CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that the truth cannot be covered even if journalists are threatened or jailed on false charges. The CPM General Secretary was responding to the revelations of the former CEO of Twitter that there were threats from the Modi government.
‘Extremely cruel way of handling the media. Dissidents are intimidated, journalists are threatened, abused and imprisoned under false pretenses. No amount of denial by Modi Govt can obscure the truth of media content,” Yechury tweeted.

It is also noteworthy that Sitaram Yechury’s response comes amid threats against journalists in Kerala.
