Deciphering Ile-de-France club results: Tight duel between Fleury and Bobigny in National 2 Group B, disappointment for Racing, and more updates

Every weekend, Le Parisien invites you to analyze and decipher the results of the various Ile-de-France clubs. The end of the season is near and there is a stake at all levels. In National 2, it’s still tight in group B where the duel between Fleury and Bobigny, winners of the Lusitanos (3-0) and Sainte-Geneviève (5-0), continues. In group A, it’s almost over for Racing after its defeat at Saint-Malo (3-2). In National 3, it does not settle between Aubervilliers and Linas-Montlhéry, always separated by a point. In D1 Arkema, Paris FC slows down PSG in the title race and is getting closer to the Champions League. Finally, in U19, FC 93 Bobigny, winner in Nancy (4-0), offered the right to play in a qualifying final for the playoffs next Sunday against Troyes.

Disappointment: Racing lets Rouen escape

Racing has certainly said goodbye to its dreams of going up to the National on Saturday at the Marville stadium in Saint-Malo. Led 2-1 at the break, Racing had managed to equalize (2-2, 70th) thanks to Arnold Vula’s 21st goal. But pushing to snatch victory, he conceded a goal (3-2) in the 93rd minute… The disappointment is immense for Racing, the best attack of the 4 groups of National 2 (64 goals), who, for his return to this level 12 years after having left it (2010), has therefore come very close to a 2nd consecutive climb. With now five points behind Rouen victorious on Saturday against Vannes (4-2), it would now take a big combination of circumstances (a clear round combined with 2 defeats for Rouen in the last 3 games).

The duel: The cartons of Fleury and Bobigny

Three days from the end, Fleury still has a 2-point lead over FC 93 Bobigny at the top of group B of National 2. On Saturday, the first two were both playing derbies which they largely won. Fleury beat the Lusitanos Saint-Maur (3-0) thanks to goals from Valentin Lavigne (48th), Florent Sauvadet (73rd) and Jérémy Mangonzo (89th).

Bobigny crushed Sainte-Geneviève (5-0) with goals from Farid Beziouen (1st), Abdelsamad Hachem (7th), Mamadou Sissako (44th, 65th) and Marc-Evy Ousseni (90th sp). If Bobigny and Fleury will fight for the rise in National until the end, Les Lusitanos (11th) and especially Sainte-Geneviève (13th) will have to fight for their maintenance.

The player: Amadou Konate (Poissy)

This season, Poissy has been able to count on a pair of very efficient attackers. Against Évreux (5-2), Amadou Konate and Cheikh Touré respectively scored a hat-trick and a double. Touré has reached the bar of 20 goals and Konate brings his total to 13. Arrived this season in Poissy, Amadou Konate, 26, obtains the best score of his career started in Essonne in Viry. He then moved a lot, Tours, Valenciennes before having several seasons in National (Boulogne, Lyon-Duchère, Cholet, Sète) and even an experience in Norway at FK Bodo-Glimt.

The number: 1

The number of points that still separates Aubervilliers from Linas-Montlhéry at the head of the National 3 Île-de-France with 3 days to go. The two opponents for the rise in N2 both drew this Saturday. At the Camp des Loges against the amateur team of PSG, Aubervilliers who had opened the entry score by Johnley Chery (6th) was joined on a goal by Mathieu de Oliveira (1-1, 55th). Linas-Montlhéry was very close to winning at Paris FC and therefore taking the lead. But if Issa Cissé had scored quickly (20th), the reserve of the PFC which plays its maintenance and was reinforced by several pros (Caddy, Mbala, Gueho, Koré…) snatched the draw at the last minute thanks to the 11th goal of the season by Kevin Mbala, after missing a penalty.

The sentence: “We take a point but nothing is done yet”, Sandrine Soubeyrand (Paris FC)

As you might expect, this 20th day of D1 Arkema will count when it comes to the final balance sheet. The result of the derby between PSG and Paris FC (0-0) this Sunday at Camp des Loges is of paramount importance. PSG are now 3 points ahead of Lyon, which they will receive in a fortnight at Camp des Loges for a “final” for the title of champion of France. Paris FC took advantage of Fleury’s defeat on Saturday against Montpellier (1-2) to regain 3rd place. He takes a big option for qualification in the Champions League. But we will have to finish the job against Soyaux and Rodez, the last two.

“We took a point but nothing is done yet, tempers Sandrine Soubeyrand, the coach of Paris FC. We will take the time to savor and prepare well for the arrival of Soyaux in 15 days. Even if they are already relegated, we will have to be serious. We know that we have more difficulty against teams that don’t make the game. But we are already very satisfied. It’s not every day that we manage to take a point at PSG. We succeeded last year at home, we’re doing it again this year at home. In a match, we manage to reduce the gap with Lyon or PSG. We managed to raise our athletic level. It is a successful performance. »

Among young people: the U19s of FC 93 Bobigny offer themselves a final

Promoted to the national U19 championship, FC 93 Bobigny is 90 minutes away from a historic qualification for the playoffs. FC 93 won its third victory in a row this Sunday in Nancy (4-0) thanks in particular to Kayoum Mbamba’s 19th goal of the season. Third at one point from Troyes (2nd), which he will receive next Sunday, Bobigny will play a real final in his Auguste-Delaune stadium. A victory against Troyes would allow him to take 2nd place, synonymous with qualification for the playoffs. A successful performance only once by an amateur club, Drancy last year.
