Russian airstrikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities killed and injured Tuesday morning, according to local Ukrainian authorities. In the town of Kryvyi Rih, civilian targets were hit, including a five-story apartment complex.
That says Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul of the affected city of Kryvyi Rih on Telegram. “There may be people under the rubble.” Photos in Ukrainian media show that part of the apartment complex has burned down.
In Kharkiv, according to the city’s mayor, a government building and a warehouse were hit by cruise missiles. The city is not far from the Russian border.
Kyiv was also attacked with cruise missiles. According to the Ukrainian military authorities, the air defense in the Ukrainian capital has managed to shoot down all cruise missiles.
