Denver Nuggets make history as first-time NBA champions with victory over Miami Heat

Very well held by the Nuggets. They have been lost, without touch on the wrist, without making shots and almost the entire game from behind. There were nerves. But, and also surviving a great finish from Jimmy Butler, they sweated to finish above the Heat, a worthy rival for everything they’ve done before, even though they’ve been a step below here. Denver is NBA champion for the first time in history.
