Wall Street’s Main Indices Close Higher on Monday Trading Session

The main stock indices on Wall Street closed in the green at the end of Monday’s trading.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the trading session up by 189.55 points, or 0.6%, to reach 34066.33 points.

The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 40.07 points, or 0.9%, to 4338.93 points.

The Nasdaq Composite Index for technology stocks added 202.78 points, or 1.5%, to reach 13461.92 points.
