Sicco and Tessa met at school when they were fourteen and fell in love. Yet their ways separate and they both have a family with two children: “We were still so young that we couldn’t really do anything with it,” says Tessa. When they meet again years later, the spark strikes again and they have been very happy with each other for three years now: “We made and played music together. That’s how everything started rolling again.”
Due to the difficult housing market, it is quite a challenge to find a house with five bedrooms for all their children within their budget of 425,000 euros. But separated life is also no fun for the couple: “The feeling that you want to be together more, but also the practical side with children and two houses.” So they enlist the help of Buy without Looking to help them with that quest: “It is very important that there is peace,” emphasizes Tessa.
After all wishes have been discussed, real estate agent Alex immediately starts with the search: “We are looking for a house with five bedrooms in Drachten or in Opeinde. There is not a great deal on offer there, so the choice is not huge.” It turns out to be a difficult task, but he finds the ideal house just on the edge of the concession clock: “I was almost starting to despair for Tessa and Sicco and then a gem appears on the housing market.”
It is a detached house on the edge of Opeinde, exactly what Sicco and Tessa are looking for. After the house is also approved by Bob, Alex decides to make an offer. The house is purchased for 367,000 euros, leaving enough budget for Bob to refurbish the house: “We need to create an extra bedroom and I really want an extra bathroom.”
The weeks pass and Sicco and Tessa can finally move into their new dream home. When they enter the residence, they do not know what they see: “Smells like home”, says Sicco enthusiastically. The end result is stunning and there’s plenty of room for the large family: “I absolutely love it,” says Tessa. Even the dreams of Sicco and Tessa have the team of Buy without Looking managed to realize, namely a man cave for Sicco and a private studio for Tessa: “This is not normal,” says Tessa with admiration. Especially the fact that they were able to realize such a beautiful house for their children is something that Sicco is very proud of: “How nice that you can give that to your children”, says Sicco with tears in his eyes.
After traveling back and forth for three years, Sicco and Tessa can finally settle down together and continue working on their future: “You are tired of traveling back and forth for the last few years, so this is just fantastic, our dream come true” , says Tessa emotionally.
