New Technology and AI Expose Major Asylum Hoax in Norway with Over 60 False Identities

Norway’s most extensive asylum hoax may have been exposed with the help of new technology and artificial intelligence.

It started with a bloody family drama. More than five years later, the Directorate of Immigration (UDI) believes they have uncovered over 60 false identities in a family network.

One day in 2010, a 30-year-old came to Norway with his spouse and children. They applied for asylum. And this is where the UDI alleges that the ID fraud started.

The next day an older brother arrived. He had two minors with him who were not his biological children. These were registered as unaccompanied minor asylum seekers. All stated to be citizens of war-torn Afghanistan.

This allowed them to stay in Norway. After that, new family members kept appearing.

UDI: Used the children as a starting point

UDI claims that the unaccompanied minor children who came functioned as so-called “anchor childanchor childA designation for children who are sent to Norway so that the family can obtain a residence permit later. The children often come to Norway as unaccompanied underage asylum seekers. They obtain residence because they cannot be returned due to the special rules that apply to children.». This was compounded by the fact that cousins ​​with spouses and children also came. In the end, UDI believes this became a network of around 90 people in Norway and Europe.

UDI claims that several people in the network have used several identities. But all have stated that they are Afghans.

But are they actually from Afghanistan?
