This approach allows you to better control your diet, said “Federal News Agency” (18+) nutritional expert Katarzyna Wolnicka.

The methodology proposes to divide the products into three sections. Half of the plate should be filled with vegetables, a quarter with whole grain carbohydrates, and the remaining space with proteins. Such proportions eliminate the need to weigh products and count calories.

According to the expert, for the vegetable part of the plate, you can choose any vegetables, with the exception of potatoes, as they contain a lot of starch. It is recommended to give preference to green vegetables.

As for the protein part of the plate, it can be filled not only with meat, but also with fish, since it is also a permitted product. However, sausage products, sausages and similar products should be avoided.
