Written and directed by debutant SS Bijuraj, the musical horror film ‘Amiya’ starring nine-year-old Samaveda in the lead role holds a world record at the Universal Records Forum. This is the first time in the world that 36 singers have sung a song for a film. The film has been produced by WMD Movies, Sound Waves Productions and Rahib Media. The film revolves around Amiya, a girl whose talents go unrecognized due to her parents’ lack of attention. Amia is available in 10 Indian languages Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi and English, French, Arabic, Sinhala, Nepali, German, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Russian, Korean, Thai, Spanish, 74 songs have been composed in Greek and 14 foreign languages. The crew members said that the film music industry is witnessing such an initiative for the first time in the history of cinema.
