The stock market has been fairly calm recently despite tight monetary policy. Investors seem inclined to believe that tight monetary policy will soon be replaced by a much more lenient one.
The S&P 500 is up about 20% from its early October lows. Much of the recent gains have come from stocks of big tech companies that are benefiting from artificial intelligence.
