Crazy River 2023: World Music, Visual Arts, and More at the Filtres Meadow

D-1 before the start of crazy river ! From June 14 to 18, several concerts will enliven the Meadow of Filters. The opportunity to highlight world music through artists from various backgrounds.

For this 28th edition, the organizers have planned a program that should attract fans of different musical styles. The first musical festival of the Pink City will welcome Damon Alban (Blur, Gorillas), the uncle of reggae Token Jah Fakoly, the French rapper Oxmo Puccino, the French singer Imany still the Franco-Nigerian, master of Afrobeat Tony Allen. A Aretha Franklin special evening is scheduled for Saturday June 17.

Like every year, crazy river combines music, live shows and visual arts. Thus, several visual artists from the invited countries will propose a scenography with contemporary visual creations, shows for young audiences and a midnight cinema.

A festival accessible to small budgets

Crazy River 2023 as always wants to be a festival accessible to small budgets. Passes are 15 euros for one day, 35 euros for three days (10/30) in presale or reduced price. For those who have not purchased their tickets online, a ticket office will be available on site from June 14 to 17 from 4:30 p.m. to midnight (and on Sunday June 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.).

In 2022, the Filtres meadow had welcomed more than 46,000 festival-goers over the five days of concerts.
