UEFA Champions League 2023 Season Team: Winners and Best Players

UEFA published this Sunday a list of the eleven best players of the Champions League season that culminated this Saturday with the victory of Manchester City against Inter Milan in the final played at the Ataturk stadium (Istanbul, Turkey).

The winner of Europe’s most prestigious trophy at club level is strongly represented in the Season Team from UEFA by defenders Kyle Walker and Rúben Dias, defensive midfielders Rodri and John Stones, midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, as well as attacker Erling Haaland. The team, made up of the UEFA Technical Observers Panel, is completed by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and attacker Vinícius Jr. (both from Real Madrid) and defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Di Marco (Inter).

Likewise, Rodri took away the title to the best player of the season. Along City’s path to the coveted cup, the first in its history, the Spanish footballer scored twice, including the decisive goal that determined the outcome of the final.
