Last week, Apple held a developer conference, during which it revealed the Vision Pro glasses for virtual and augmented reality, along with some other devices and operating systems – for $ 3,499.
Here are 6 of the most expensive Apple products ever:
1- Gold Apple Watch
Release year: 2015.
Price: $17,000.
Although the Apple smartwatch is known for its health-tracking features, when it was released it was marketed as a luxury item.
The company released the gold version of its watch in 2015, at a price starting from $10,000 to $17,000.
2- Macintosh Portable
Year of issue: 1980.
Price: $7,300.
Price adjusted for inflation: $17.7 thousand.
It was Apple’s first battery-powered computer, weighed 16 pounds, had a 40-MB hard disk, and was discontinued in 1991.
3- Mac Pro
Release year: 2023.
Price: $6,999.
The device houses the M2 Urtla chip, which features a 24-core CPU, and supports up to 76-core CPU.
4- Apple III
Year of issue: 1981.
Price: $4,340.
Price adjusted for inflation: $15,133.
5- Pro Display XDR
Release year: 2019.
Price: $4,999.
6- Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh
Year of issue: 1977.
Price: $7499.

The device was issued in limited quantities, as it was designed to mark the twentieth anniversary of the company’s launch, and only a few thousand of the device were sold before its production was stopped.
