An 18-year-old lost control of her car and a 19-year-old went off the road.
Five young people were injured in two traffic accidents involving young drivers in Salzburg on Saturday evening. In Saalfelden, an 18-year-old driver lost control of her car in a right-hand bend and crashed into two parked vehicles. She and her two passengers, a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old, were injured, the Salzburg police reported. All three were taken to the Tauern Clinic in Zell am See by ambulance.
In St. Johann, a 19-year-old from Altenmarkt also lost control of his vehicle and left the road. The car stayed on the roof. He and his 19-year-old passenger from Abtenau were able to free themselves from the accident car and notify the emergency services. Both suffered only minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for a check-up. A breathalyzer was negative.
