QUÉBEC, June 10, 2023 /CNW/ – The Government of Quebec is pleased to allocate, through the Financial Assistance for Festivals and Tourism Events program, an amount of $23,000 to the festival Sunsationwhich takes place in Trois-Rivières until June 11.
The Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Lanaudière region, Ms.me Caroline Proulx, made the announcement today.
This important event allows fans of electronic music to come together to live their passion together in an electric atmosphere.

- The program Financial assistance for festivals and tourist events supports initiatives that encourage the development of a diversified and attractive tourist offer throughout Quebec.
- Its general objectives are:
- consolidate the position of the Quebec destination on the national and international scene;
- promote the development of tourist gatherings in a responsible and sustainable approach, throughout Quebec.
- Projects supported under the Festivals and major tourist events component will now have to meet obligations in terms of sustainable development and will henceforth be able to benefit from three-year agreements.
