Bengaluru: BJP has set up a helpline number to ensure legal assistance to party workers involved in fake cases in Karnataka. After releasing the helpline number, Bengaluru MP and Yuva Morcha president Tejwasi Surya said that the service was started to help the activists to deal with the cases legally. The helpline number is 18003091907.
The MP told the media that after the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government came to power, efforts are being made to suppress BJP workers. For the past three to four weeks, BJP workers have been receiving warnings from ministers that they will face severe legal action if they speak against the police or the government. The MP also explained that the police have taken action for tweeting against the Chief Minister and drawing a caricature against the Chief Minister and turning him into a WhatsApp DP.
The Home Minister of Karnataka G. Parameshwara said.
“Karnataka Home Minister is taking direct orders from PFI. We have seen BJP RSS workers killed in Karnataka. But the Congress government was not ready to register an FIR or conduct an investigation. Accused were allowed to escape by filing a false chargesheet,” accused the MP.
