Burgas athlete is #1 in Romania

Bulgarian athletes recorded a strong participation in the international tournament “Iolanda Balas Soter” in Bucharest, Romania.

Victor Tsenkov became number one in the most difficult athletic discipline – the shepherd’s jump. The 19-year-old competitor of AK “Burgas 98” won the title with a result of 4.90 m. Margarita Hristova and Yova Petrova shared the third position in the sector with 3.20 m.

In the hammer throw, Zhivko Gospodinov won the gold, improving his personal record by nearly a meter – 67.50 m. The other Bulgarian in the sector, Daniel Jahani, placed fourth with an achievement of 64.35 m. Alexandra Nacheva prevailed in the triple jump with 13.44 m (-1.2 m /sec Nacheva became third in the long jump with 6.18 m.

Ivelina Milkova became second in the women’s discus with 43.71 m. Hristo Bankov pushed the shot put 17.55 m for second place in the men’s. Only Marius Musteata beat him with 20.06 m.

Dobromir Nikolov finished third in the 110m breaststroke final with 14.61 seconds. Hristiyan Stoyanov gave a time of 3:54.46 min for fourth position in the 1500 m run.
